What to expect?
Join The Wine Events Company sommelier, Tony Elvin and the team at Chung Ying for a fantastic evening of flavour and fun to raise funds for the Birmingham Big Art Project.
Upon arrival, you can enjoy a glass of bubbly before sitting down to a fabulous four-course Chinese banquet, matched perfectly with wines from around the world.
Relax and savour new tastes as you explore wine pairings with vino geek Tony over the feast; if karaoke is your thing then a sing-song will also be available afterwards.
The fundraising project
Turner Prize-winning Susan Phillipsz’s ‘Station Clock’ is a sonic artwork to be installed outside the entrance of HS2’s Curzon Street Station and will sound the voices of 1,092 Birmingham people.
To support the production and construction of this sonic sculpture, the Birmingham Big Art Project is gearing up to raise funds.
Recording sessions for the Twelve Tones will resume shortly and we look forward to sharing an exciting announcement from Chairman Glyn Pitchford.
