Birmingham  Big Art Project is delighted to have been featured in the International New York Times on Tuesday 5th September 2017.

The article, an interview with winning artist Susan Philipsz, talks about the diversity of the people of Birmingham and their voices.

“The idea is to work with a diverse range of voices from all over Birmingham,” said Ms. Philipsz, who is based in Berlin. “It’s the most ethnically diverse city in Britain, and like any big city, there are elements of harmony and discord but we find a way to coexist.” – Susan Philipsz
